Sale Ready Tip # 10 Clean your windows so that the outlook is enhanced

Clean windows look great & sparkle.

Your potential buyer wants to clearly see the view outside your windows.

If you haven’t had good success in cleaning windows, try white vinegar. It’s non-toxic and naturally sourced. Make your own cleaning solution by simply mixing 50 per cent vinegar and 50 per cent water in a spray bottle. Spray your window, let the solution sit for about 3 minutes, then use a micro-fibre cloth to wipe the solution off. Gently use a circular motion to buff the solution off.

If you prefer a commercial solution spray the solution onto your windows, allow to sit for a few minutes, then use a squeegee, either with side to side motion or top to bottom, depending on the type of blade.

Leave to dry, if necessary buff with a soft cloth.

Some people like to use methylated spirits & newspaper, spray on some methylated spirits or window cleaner, and then use a scrunched-up piece of newspaper to wipe away the dirt.
